DAI’s Bottom Line:
Time for a quick personal story from one of DAI’s finest reviewer’s files:
I had been taking Alli™ for a few days, and I was being very careful with what I was eating. It’s been pretty clear that you have to steer clear of fatty foods while taking Alli™, or else the fat that’s being blocked will exit your system in the form of oily stools. So my wife and I went to a Japanese Restaurant in the city and sat down to a nice meal. I had Udon Soup, my wife had the Miso. In the middle of the main course, my wife excused herself to use the restroom while I continued to enjoy my sushi. The wasabi must have hit me hard and my eyes began to water and my nose began to run. It was really clearing my sinuses. A few seconds later I had an uncontrollable urge to sneeze. I did… and the next thing I knew… I had actually… soiled myself. It was the most embarrassing moment of my adult life. Luckily, I was wearing a sweater which I tied around my waist. My wife paid the bill and we ran out of there as fast as we could. Don’t even ask about my car. Needless to say, I never took Alli™ again. We offer a quote from a recent story done by MSNBC: “(I)’ve pooped my pants 3 times today, and sorry to get descriptive but it even leaked onto the couch at one point!” writes one user. While the manufacturers of Alli recommend that you travel with an extra set of underwear and pants while taking their product, we recommend that you pass altogether.
